[Update your AVG AntiVirus to version 9.0]Game issues encountered in patch v86.

[Update 1] - Update your AVG Free to the latest version 9.0 to solve the MapleStory.exe access denied error or MapleStory.exe has gone missing. Download the latest AVG Here

- Download and install the new AVG
- Run auto patch

OR

- open AVG > go to 'tools' > 'advance settings'
- under 'resident Shield', go to 'exclude'
- Select 'exclude files', click 'add'
- browse to Maplestory folder and select 'MapleStory.exe' see if it helps.

Cannot find MapleStory.exe or MapleStory is deleted:

1. Open AVG at the bottom of screen.
2. Click on the Computer Scanner Tab
3. Click on "View Virus Vault"
4. Click on the Maplestory.exe "virus" and click on "Restore As"
5. Find ur MapleStory folder and click on OK

Check your firewall and anti virus if they are blocking the programs.

1. start > run > type "regedit"
2. navigate to Hkey_Local_Mechine > System > CurrentControlSet > Service
3. Find Folder Name "EagelNT" and right click it.
4. Select "permissions"
5. Under "group or usernames" select "administrator"
6. If there is any ticks on the column "deny" untick them.
7. Under "group or usernames" select "everybody" (if any) select "remove"
8. Restart your pc
9. Start Maplestory.
