For those of you having issues when attempting to connect to the game, user NightRen has come up with some solutions that have worked for a large portion of people. While just this fix may work, sometimes it's a combination of issues, so this might not work for everyone.
Before we cover the fixes however, one user has also posted an EXE that goes through most of these steps on its own in mere seconds. This option is aimed at those who might get lost or simply want a one click fix.

1) Download the EXE from either of the following locations:
These links are all the same file, just in various formats, and on various file hosts.
You can see the VirusTotal Scan results of this file here.
2) Run msloopremover.exe and click the Remove button. The program should then open a command prompt window and almost instantly it will close.
3) Restart your Computer.
4) Try to connect to MapleStory. In most cases you should be good to go. If not, try the manual solutions below.

Firewall/Antivirus
1) Disable all Firewall and Antivirus solutions you have.
2) Try to start MapleStory. If it works, congratulations. If not, continue along to the guide for your OS.

1.) Click

2.) Once that screen is up, on the left-hand side you will see a button called Device Manager. Click on it!
3.) Once the Device Manager opens up, look for Network Adapters and click on the little plus sign next to it. It will open up all of your network adapters.
4.) Once you see your adapters, look for Microsoft Loopback Adapter. Click on it once. Now right-click on it and click disable.
5.) That should do it! Try MapleStory using both the website and game launcher method. As xgrantwallx said, if you have any further problems, you can post in my thread at:
