Alchemy HP/MP Potion Guide
ok i know this is a bit early but here it is the Chaos Alchemy Potion Profession Guide, there are too many different potions out there so i will just do the HP and MP potions
to create potions you will need
1.Herbalism
2.Alchemy
3.Enough Fatigue
4.Items in the recipe list
Basics
when you harvest a herb, you can get 3 things:
1. X flower- flowers are needed to make mp potions
2. X seed- seeds are needed to make hp potions
3. roots- gather 100 of these and trade it in with your profession teacher/npc for some thing
Herb Oils
When you have harvested enough flowers/seeds you will need to turn them into X flower/seed oil
To make a X flower/seed oil you will need:
1. a flower or a seed
2. a herb oil bottle
3. at least 99/100 fatigue, making oils cost 1 fatigue point
To get a herb bottle you will need to buy it from a npc in the mining town, the npc sells 4 different levels of herb bottles
different tier/level of oils requires different bottle as the picture shows, range from 100meso to 1000meso
Potions
When you have created enough flower/seed oils, you can finally create HP/MP potions
To make a HP/MP potion you will need:
1. 3 X flower oil(for mp potion) or 3 X seed oil(for hp potion)
2. 50 empty bottles
3. at least 97/100 fatigue, making potions cost 3 fatigue point
To get empty bottles go to the same npc you got herb oil bottles from, like the herb oil bottles there are 4 different levels of bottles
likewise again different tier/level of potions requires different bottles
*note each time you create potions you will make 50 of them and you need to be at least level 30 to use them
Potion and Herb tiers
In herbalism in total there are 13 herbs(one of them is a tutorial herb), but you only can use 11 of them to create HP/MP potions
For simplicity for this guide there will be 4 tiers, each with their own bottle
Tier 1 requires the basic bottles
Lavender
Marjoram
Rosemary
Tier 2 requires the intermediate bottles
Mandarin
Lemon Balm
Jasmine
Tier 3 requires the advance bottles
Tea Tree
Chamomile
Patchouli
Tier 4 requires the superior bottles
Juniper Berry
Hyssop Flower

The amount a potion recover is according to it tier for simplicity and i am lazy, i will refer to the potion by it's herb tier, eg. a tier 1.1 potion is a Lavender based potion while a tier 3.2 potion is a Chamomile based potion
Tier 1
1.1 recovers 1000 HP/MP
1.2 recovers 1500 HP/MP
1.3 recovers 2000 HP/MP
Tier 2
2.1 recovers 2500 HP/MP
2.2 recovers 3000 HP/MP
2.3 recovers 3500 HP/MP
Tier 3
3.1 recovers 4000 HP/MP
3.2 recovers 5000 HP/MP
3.3 recovers 6000 HP/MP
Tier 4
4.1 recovers 7000 HP/MP
Tier 5
Advance Potion recovers 10000 HP/MP

Meso efficiency calculations
For this guide i will have the red and blue potion as a base line for the meso efficiency calculations
Red potion: 50hp:5meso → 10hp:1meso (you recover 10hp for every 1meso you use)
Blue Potion: 100mp:20meso → 5mp:1meso (you recover 5mp for every 1meso you use)
Tier 1 requires 3xBasic Oil bottle(100meso) + 50xBasic Empty bottle(100meso) = 300+5000 = 5300meso
therefore 1 tier 1 potion cost 106mesos to make
1.1 recovers 1000hp/mp
ratio is about 9.7hp/mp:1meso
1.2 recovers 1500hp/mp
ratio is about 14.5hp/mp:1meso
1.3 recovers 2000hp/mp
ratio is about 19.4hp/mp:1meso
Tier 2 requires 3xIntermediate Oil bottle(300meso) + 50xIntermediate Empty bottle(200meso) = 900+10000 = 10900meso
therefore 1 tier 2 potion cost 218mesos to make
2.1 recovers 2500hp/mp
ratio is about 11.4hp/mp:1meso
2.2 recovers 3000hp/mp
ratio is about 13.7hp/mp:1meso
2.3 recovers 3500hp/mp
ratio is about 16hp/mp:1meso
Tier 3 requires 3xAdvance Oil bottle(500meso) + 50xAdvance Empty bottle(400meso) = 1500+20000 = 21500
therefore 1 tier 3 potion cost 430mesos to make
3.1 recovers 4000hp/mp
ratio is about 9.3hp/mp:1meso
3.2 recovers 5000hp/mp
ratio is about 11.6hp/mp:1meso
3.3 recovers 6000hp/mp
ratio is about 13.9hp/mp:1meso
Tier 4 requires 3xSuperior Oil bottle(1000meso) + 50xSuperior Empty bottle(800meso) = 3000+40000 = 43000
therefor 1 tier 4 potion cost 860mesos to make
4.1 recovers 7000hp/mp
ratio is about 8.1hp/mp:1meso
Tier 5(even though the potion are based on tier 4 herbs i will classify this as tier 5 due to the different recipe to tier 4) requires 4xSuperior Oil bottle(1000meso 1 more than usual since it needs Hyssop Flower Oil) + 50xSuperior Empty bottle(800meso) = 4000+40000 = 44000
therefore 1 tier 5 potion cost 880mesos to make
recovers 10000hp/mp
ratio is about 11.4hp/mp:1meso
From these calculation the ranking of the most efficient to the least is (x:1meso, x the higher the better)
1. potion tier 1.3
2. potion tier 2.3
3. potion tier 1.2
4. potion tier 3.3
5. potion tier 2.2
6. potion tier 3.2
7. Advance Potion and potion tier 2.1
9. Red Potion(HP only)
9(mp)/10(hp). potion tier 1.1
10(mp)/11(hp). potion tier 3.1
11(mp)/12(hp). potion tier4.1
12(mp). Blue Potion(MP only)
*Note this does NOT take into account of finding the materials, time need to make it and time required to spam an amount of potions to reach a certain hp/mp recovery*
Extra calculations
For a honster/mana bull to beat potion tier 1.3 efficiency you will need 90 534 HP/MP
For a ginger ale to beat potion tier 1.3 efficiency you will need 40 956HP and 81 911MP(if 1/3 of the cost goes to HP and 2/3 of the cost goes to MP)
For a ginseng root to beat a potion tier 1.3 efficiency you will need 33 950HP and 67 900MP(if 1/3 of the cost goes to HP and 2/3 of the cost goes to MP)

Pills
I have know idea why you would want to make pills, but here it is
you need coagulants, like the bottles 4 tiers each for different tier potions
To make tier X pill you will need
1. 50x tier X potions
2. tier X pill recipe(by them from the recipe selling npc)
3. 10x tier X coagulant
which basicly means
50 tier 1 pills are 500mesos more expensive than 50 tier 1 potions(10mesos more per pill)
50 tier 2 pills are 1000mesos more expensive than 50 tier 1 potions(20mesos more per pill)
50 tier 3 pills are 2000mesos more expensive than 50 tier 1 potions(40mesos more per pill)
50 tier 4/5 pills are 4000mesos more expensive than 50 tier 4/5 potions(80mesos more per pill)
they also heal the same amount so i dont know why you would even want to make pills except for the higher max item cap.
