Guide for MTS merchanting

Ok. Well today I'm going to talk about how I make money through the MTS. Using this method I make 10k-20k NX per week on average.


The general idea of MTS merchanting is buying small items such as equips, low selling scrolls, or even other cheap items in the MTS, this is all to resell them to make a profit.

What I do:

1.) I take any drops I have, such as equips and such that are in my inventory, and look them up on the MTS. If most people are selling theirs for 300 NX, try to make yours about 250. I personally always go with 221, simply because it is the lowest amount possible and you did get the item for free.

2.) Search through the FM and look for any equips level 50+. You can usually find massive amounts of these in the FM's that no one likes. If they are around 50-100k, buy it. Almost any equips will sell for 221 on the MTS if you let it sit for a day or two, because all the time people will have left over NX cash, and just need one equip or two for their next level. Somebody somewhere will need it. Take advantage of that.

3.) Search for any CHEAP scrolls. E.g. Overall def, Shield def, BW for att, etc. These are anywhere from 20-200k. Only buy these if you know scroll pricing, because you can sell these from 221-500 NX in the shop. Like I said, somebody somewhere will need it.

4.) Search through the MTS for scrolls that people want. E.g. Gloves for att, Claw for att, Overall Luk, Overall dex, etc. If you see ANY of these selling for 200-500+ less than the others, buy it and make it 100 less than the others. This should sell quickly. [ Remember for this one generally search the first couple pages so you can get the ones people just put up, so someone else doesn't get it ]

5.) Etc items may seem a small thing, but they certainly add up. Zombie teeth is the big one here. People need them for quests, so if you happen to train at zombies a lot [ Such as any cleric would ] just loot them and sell them for 221/100 zombie teeth. Golden zombie teeth sell for loads.

Don't forget to always add up tax when buying an item, other wise you may think you're making a profit, but actually are not.
