A letter to CEO of Asiasoft?

To CEO of Asiasoft Online Pte Ltd:



Dear Sir:



As a Maplesea player for more than 5 years, i felt very disappointed and frustrated with how things had been going around maplesea. Before that i go into that, i would congratulate Asiasoft for posting a good profit in Quarter 1 2011.



With the arrival of Big Bang patch surely managed to bring back a lot of players come back to Maplesea and the permanent cash shop items are also encourage us players to charge for more @cash. Seriously i on behalf of the maplesea community are very pissed with what your GMs' role towards Maplesea, drive more @cash sale or make sure the server can operate smoothly and cut down botting and hacking to the minimum level. Illegal Evan vacuum botters issue is getting more and more out of control, instead of solving the problem by drilling to the root cause, your GM just bring back lie detector in game and impose a minimum 30 fame requirement to enter mini dungeon with monster lv66 and above. What do you expect us players to do?



To the extend your GMs replied that if they ban a botter, tomorrow there will be 10 botters back in game. Is that our problem? What can we as a legitimate player do in game? when we defend the map from botter, we are banned for the reason of taking advantage of the botting system of the botter. This is a very serious issue. We are willing to spend @cash for miracle cubes and cash shop items but the botting issue is seriously deteriorating the gameplay of maplesea. We are very curious about the job function of your GMs ie how many GM suppose to duty in the game? What are they suppose to do? How we can contact them? We felt so stupid for splashing @cash in game to pay your GM salary whom arent doing their job at all.


Maplesea is becoming Bottersea any moment soon, more and more legitimate new player getting harder to play and enjoy the game especially with the fame restriction. Any trainable map, you can see at least 1 botter per channel on all servers. GMs should not giving such irresponsible and stupid reply where ban 1 botter, tomorrow 10 botters come back swarm the server. If such so, then i would want to Asiasoft as Maplesea GM, do nothing and get paid monthly plus bonus - totally stressless job.


To the extend, there is rumor saying is your GMs are responsible for all the botting to farm mesos and sell it for real cash, that is why the botting issues will never be solved. What i am trying to say is that Asiasoft management of Maplesea is really just bad and irresponsible. We are your customers too. Customers' satisfaction and profit driving are interrelated. When you have happy customers, profits will just coming in. Sooner or latter, Maplesea will be deserted with only illegal botters left.



To support my points above, Mr CEO you can just take a look at the feedback on forum asiasoft.net how players raised their unhappiness about the game. Here are a few suggestions that Mr CEO that you might consider in order to bring back happy customers in Maplesea.



1. Change those stupid GMs KPI / SOP. Make a monthly schedule of GMs' on duty in each server so that we can contact them in game easily. Give them incentive to ban those illegal hackers and botters. eg 1SGD for each successful ban of 1 illegal botter / hacker, minimum they must at least ban 25 botters/ hackers if not they are not entitle for the incentive.



2. Give us a channel to report or complaint any irresposible GMs. If any GM being complaint more than 5 times in a month, they will not receive any incentive they accumutated by banning illegal botters and hackers as above.


In conclusion, i begged that Mr CEO would see this problem as a very serious matter. Happy customers = happy spending = good profit.
