Why Pets are Useful
Pets are great to have because you can train them when you get bored, use them for looting, HP and MP pots, and even to get speed or jump on a pet equip. They're fun, cute, and handy... what else could you want? Eventually, pets will have more features... but for now, just use 'em for what you can.

Pet Training Tips [INFO-4]
Pet food items from the cash shop that increase 100 closeness are a great way, but expensive. Pet Park, if you have the patience, is also a great way. But, when you're short on nx, and can't do jump quests... why not just give your pet commands? When you're waiting for the boat, or waiting for the NLC train, or something like that... just tell your pet to do something, and you'll hopefully gain 50~100 closeness before you're done waiting. Also, be sure to do the pet quests! They are named Fanzy the Mysterious Cat and Kenta's Advice. For Fanzy, you have to talk to Nella in Kerning City. Go to The Field North of Ellinia and talk to Fanzy. Hunt 1 Red Ball of Yarn from slimes. Return to Fanzy for 15 closeness!
For Kenta's Advice, go to Aquarium and talk to Kenta. Hit the treasure chests outside of town and collect pieces of paper A, B, C, D, and E. Bring them to Kenta for 25 closeness, I believe. You will also notice that no matter what speed you have, your pet will stay right behind you. Very useful when wanting to loot! Also, Fiel forces us to put in the words Frylock and Meatwad somewhere in here. So I decided to put it down here where nobody can see it.
More Information [INFO-5]
Ludibrium Pet Park -
Get there by going into the main town. Go to the left - Find Patricia, the pet merchant teddybear. Go up the few floating steps, and go into the portal. Talk to the NPC. Obtain the letter, and jump. This is the mini map of this map :
In the top left hand corner, where the blue structure is, here is a tip for that area : Do not jump down. Just fall, and you will land on the platform safely.
Henesys Pet Park -
Go to Henesys Park. Find the cat statues. Hit up twice on the left one. Go all the way to the left and talk to Trainer Bartos. Obtain the letter. Jump through the course. This is what it looks like :
It's pretty easy, really. It's mostly timing of your jump. I have no special tips for this; as it is really easy to understand. Also, the part on the right is just a fool around area.
Pet Equips :
Pet equips are equippable by either all pets, or just a certain type of pet. The ones that are equippable for all pets are a little cheaper, and have 5 slots. The ones that are equippable for certain pets, however, have 7 slots and are a little more expensive.
Here are the images of pet equips and what pets can equip them. (NOTE : Lots of images) :

Pet Skills (Meso Magnet, HP / MP pouches, etc.) :
Pets can do things for you like use your HP and MP potions for you (applying to you, of course), pick up your mesos, pick up your items, and even pick up drops from other people. But, these all can only happen by obtaining the item. Here's a list of the items and what they do :
Meso Magnet - Lets your pet pick up mesos
Item Pouch - Lets your pet pick up items
Auto HP Potion Pouch - Lets your pet use HP for you
Auto MP Potion Pouch - Lets your pet use MP pots for you
Wing Boots - Lets your pet pick up items from afar
Binoculars - Lets your pet move farther to pick up items
Magic Scales - Lets your pet pick up other people's items that have been on the ground for 30 seconds or more.
Item Ignore Pendant - Lets your pet ignore any item on that list.
Evolution Pets :
Dragons and Robots can evolve, (The ones that cost 12000 NX) and they are pretty amazing when they do. You need to buy the pet, get it to Level 15. Then, buy a rock of evolution and bring your pet to Garnox of NLC. He will ask you to get cold eye tails and lupin bananas (Not sure how many. If you can fill me in on this, thanks.) and once you bring them to him, he will evolve your pet. If you did not get the color you wanted, you can try again, but you need to buy the rock of evolution again and get the lupin bananas again.
Pet Command Not Listed :
At level 15, your pet has a command that doesn't give closeness, is not on the list, and is sorta fun to fool around with. That command is /pet. You type, /pet <text> and your pet will say "<text>". You can make your pet say anything... except for censored words. Very useful when in the free market because you can just spam it as fast as you can, there's no time limit for the pet words.

Q : How expensive are pets?
A : They can range from 4.9k to 12k, depending on the pet.

A : I'm still working on it.
Q : What if I have a question that isn't on the FAQ?
A : Post it. Or feel free to PM me.
