What is Mini Dungeon?
A mini dungeon in MapleStory is similar to normal MapleStory maps, however they are pretty hidden and can be accessed through portals. What makes mini dungeon so special is that the map contains lots of monster and has a high spawn rate (small map). There are platforms for range characters to snipe (magician/bowman/assassin/pirate) so they can save potion from being bumped against monster!
Pearl Of Knowledge
There are 2 types of mini dungeon, 1 is event mini dungeon where you can get crystal to purchase rewards. (e.g. Moon Star Chair). However, event mini dungeon has timer (5 minutes) to prevent a player from booking the map all day. The 2nd type of dungeon is mainly for training (1 hour – 1.5 hour) There is a certain limit of players allowed to play in the mini dungeon for each channel (20 players max). You are disabled to use certain skills and can’t consume potion (HP/MP) while in mini dungeon, similarly to jump quest. Below is a list of MapleStory Mini Dungeon Location. Click “more” to view them!

Location 1 – Victoria Island : Henesys – Pig Farm
Monster : Pig and Ribbon Pigs
Entrance from : The Rain-Forest East of Henesys on the top right platform

Location 2 – Victoria Island : Sleepywood – Mushroom Growing Cave
Monster : Horny Mushroom & Zombie Mushroom
Entrance from : Middle-bottom portal of Ant Tunnel II.

Location 3 – Victoria Island : The Destroyed Castle of Golem.

Tips on Collecting Crystals for Mini Dungeon Event
- Summon your bird (Eagle/Hawk) before entering the Mini Dungeon, and refill your MP.
- 4th Job Magician don’t spam Genesis/Blizzard/Meteo (waste lots of MP)
- Warrior use normal attack to kill to conserve MP
- Thief (Bandit) use Boomerang Step to kill 6 in 1 hit.

MapleStory Mini Dungeon Glitch
Guide on How to Reset Mini Dungeon Timer (Unlimited Duration)
- Go into the mini dungeon map
- Kill till there is 1 minute left
- Turn on Fall Through Floor : You need ZF [x][X]
- Jump and turn of Fall Through Floor
- You Should Re-enter map
- [Warning] Hack might dc (disconnect) you after a few minutes of the game.
- [Note] If you use the normal “jump down” from a certain platform, it resets the timer (glitch)

GMS Event Mini Dungeon [Source]
Limited Duration
You can enter once a day for 5 minutes everyday during the event period.
To enter the event mini dungeon, you need to receive a free coupon from NPC Naomi!
If you would like to enter more than once, purchase event tickets to enter up to 6 times a day.
The event mini dungeons will only open for 2 weeks, so talk to NPC Naomi before the doors close!
