Yes this is about the Invalid pointer bug.
ASIASOFT WOULD YOU GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND FIX THIS ALREADY?
If I'm not wrong, this bug started ever since season 2 was around. Since
then, people have been complaining on forums, and their facebook about
this bug. The ONLY response we had so far was a mod trying to find out
the problem in the forums, but we all know how limited a forum mod's
power is in getting AS to actually act on the problem. So far, AS has
not even acknowledged that there exist such a problem by posting
anything about and is simply ignoring such a game breaking bug, which
affect almost every single one of the maple population (all my friends
I've asked have experienced this at one point or another, though
frequency is varied"
So, WOULD YOU GUYS STOP COMING OUT WITH NEW CONTENT/EVENTS until you fix this invalid pointer?
How this bug ruins the game for players in many ways-
1. DC in freaking boss fights, wasting all time/money invested (*oops* YOU SHADOW CYGNUS!!)
2. Lose all buffs which we spend hundreds of millions on
3. Fairy pendent = love to dc right about when you build it to 30%
4. Sent back to town, always a hassle when grinding
5. DC every few hours, nuff said.
And this error has to do with server issues, not our individual clients!
Can AS at least assure us that this is being worked on? We've heard them
say that their technicians are working around the clock to fix server
stability issues, but no mention about a bug that crashes our clients at
the worst time (just had 2 member crash during 2x server drop during
Cyg run-we didn't down her). I daresay that many players frustration
over this bug has made them feel like wanting to play/spend less on such
an unstable game.
PS: This is a discussion on how AS has neglected its duties and a call
for them to acknowledge a failure on their part and to start working on
it. It does not belong in technical forums.
