Item lost when going to Czak, is it more likely to be a prank or real ?

Well, there is a rumor that is going around recently, that items may be lost when going into Czak. 

So do you all think it is real or fake ? Does anyone knows anyone else lose any item ? 

I am bit scared to go Czak now to be honest, do not wish to lose any of my items as they are all v precious to me.
